This policy explains how Elbowsscrub handles refunds, cancellations, and revision boundaries for paid editorial and design-related services. It does not replace your written statement of work or invoice terms when those documents add different detail.
This policy applies to paid engagements confirmed in writing between you and Elbowsscrub, including invoices, statements of work, or email chains that clearly describe scope, fees, and deliverables. General browsing of this website does not create a fee-based service relationship.
Where a contract conflicts with this page, the contract prevails for that engagement unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Because digital files can be duplicated, we tie refunds to objective milestones. If a deliverable is materially incomplete compared to the written specification, or if a milestone misses the agreed calendar window without a documented extension, you may request a remedy that can include refund of the portion tied to that milestone.
Subjective taste differences after approval, or requests that exceed the agreed scope, are typically handled as a new change order rather than a refund.
We document how many revision rounds are included for each asset type. Within those rounds, we adjust work to match the agreed creative direction. Additional rounds are billed at the rate shown in your statement of work unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Delivery dates assume timely feedback, access to assets you provide, and approvals within the windows stated in the schedule. Delays caused by missing inputs may shift dates without penalty to us. We communicate revised timing when dependencies become clear.
If you cancel before work begins, we refund any prepaid amounts minus documented setup costs described in your agreement. If you cancel after work has started, fees already earned for completed milestones are retained; remaining prepaid amounts are returned where applicable law requires.
We may cancel an engagement if cooperation is materially absent, invoices remain unpaid after notice, or continuing would violate policy or law. In those cases, we invoice for work completed and deliver available files as defined in the contract.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times depend on payment processors and banks. We provide written confirmation when a refund is initiated.
Contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we can review invoices, delivery records, and correspondence. Many issues resolve faster through direct communication than through formal chargeback procedures.
We retain contracts, invoices, and delivery records as described in our privacy notice to meet accounting and compliance expectations. Retention supports verification of what was delivered and when.
